Meet Dr. Patrick Moore

Dr. Patrick Moore always knew from a young age that he wanted to be a physician. He started his premedical education at the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a BS in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1990. He headed south to complete his General Surgery residency in Wilmington, North Carolina. Next, he traveled across the country to complete a Fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery in Seattle, Washington. There, he met his future wife.

Today, Dr. Moore is a well-known surgeon in the Temecula Valley, Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon & Rectal Surgery. He enjoys the variety of surgeries that general surgery provides, but his main emphasis is on gallbladder surgery and hernia repair. Dr. Moore has taken advantage of the technological advances in general surgery over the last 20 years and now performs robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries to remove gallbladders and repair hernias. In his experience, he has found that robotic surgery is more precise, leading to less postop pain and less downtime.

In 2016, Dr. Moore branched out into aesthetic medicine. He opened SoCal Cool Body offering Coolsculpting, a non-invasive method to freeze off those stubborn areas of fat around the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, and chin. The practice currently ranks in the top 10% of the country. Additionally, he offers BOTOX® and JUVÉDERM dermal fillers.

Dr. Moore recently became an empty nester with 2 children away at college, Aidan and Keara. He lives in Temecula with his wife – Lauren, daughter – Amanda, and 2 dogs: Gunner (yellow Lab) and Bear (black Lab). In his free time, Dr. Moore enjoys going to Disneyland with his family, exercising, swimming with Bear, and watching Notre Dame sports.
